Throughout history, many things have come and gone. The various Dynasties of China. The Dark Ages of Europe. The Great Potato Famine in Ireland. Great droughts that made the Amazon river run scarce. Tsunamis that wiped out entire cities in Japan. The Nazi invasions of the Russian city of Stalingrad. The Great Depression in the United States. Few things have stood the ultimate test of time.
          For five thousand years, through the banning and persecution that fell upon Martial Artists, the Spirit of the Warrior has survived, manifesting itself in each and every fighter, young and old, thats learned its secrets, passed from generation to generation by hiding from the public eye.
          It was well known in the Martial Arts world that there was one who ruled the warriors of the world, one man who had earned the respect of the entire Martial Arts community. His title- the Lord of Dragons. Among the hundreds of thousands of warriors in the world, only six were given the privilage of being the guardians of the Lord of Dragons. These guardians were, at first, chosen by the lord himself, bestowing only the most skilled warriors the rings signifying the fact that they were, in fact, his guardians.
          Seven rings were forged for the lord and his six guardians, each symbolizing an element of battle. Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Metal, Darkness, and Light. Every ring granted amazing power to the bearer, increasing their powers ten-fold and allowing them to control the elements themselves. These rings, highly sought after, became the object of many tainted fighters eye, and caused a battle for the rings that lasted 100 years.
          After that, the Lord of Dragons decided it would be that the rings would be passed down in secrecy, except for every three hundred years. Upon these marks in history, great battles are said to take place between the two top fighting teams in the world, each with 7 warriors, symbolizing each element. Only one team will some out on top, and one will crumble into the anals of history as a long forgotten team.
          Thus, we come to our modern story. The last round of fighting for the rings had been finished for almost ten years, when an alarm spreads through the Imperial City, originating from the depths of the Forbidden City. Treachery..... Deceit.... Disloyalty. The Guardians, along with the Lord of Dragons have been murdered, and their rings stolen!
          However, unbeknownst to the general public, the lord and guardians had anticipated this action, and sent out halves of their rings to the seven people they believed most suitable for their positions.
          Here begins our tale of seven ordinary people, grasped by fate, bound by destiny, and the youngest person to ever become the Lord of Dragons.
